Have a go at something different and experience the fantastic world of Blacksmithing.
Tailor made day in the forge for you a Family member or Friend to experience this age old Craft. In the 6 hr course you will produce an item of your choice using traditional Blacksmithing techniques which you can then take home with you as a memento of the day.

Experience Day
Information
The day typically starts with a brief health and safety discussion where I high light all safety aspects to ensure we have a safe and enjoyable day.
We then have a discussion over a Tea / Coffee what item you would like to make. If you are unsure, I will suggest a few ideas which can be made in the time.
Once decided, we light the forge and get cracking. I make the same item as you, taking you through the steps / processes required.
All PPE will be provided (Apron – Safety Glass – Gloves) but please ensure you were sturdy foot ware (Safety Boots if you have them) and old clothes as the forge is not the cleanest of environments.
Class size is normally 1 on 1 or a couple, so this guaranties you the full experience and my 100% attention all day.
Duration – Meet at the forge 9.00am – Start forging 9.30am / 12.30pm – Lunch (I provide a sandwich and drink as part of the day) 1.00pm / 4.00pm.
Cost - £190 for 1 person or £360 a couple
