Hi I’m Andrew Green
The creativity behind Chimps Forge.
I’m 52 and originally from Todmorden but have spent the last 25 years living Cleckheaton .
By profession I’m a tooling engineer within the injection moulding industry, based in the Automotive sector, a career that has spanned the last 30 years.
Many years ago I was lucky enough to enrol on a 2 days forging experience where I had the good fortune to work alongside a local blacksmith and have never looked back since.
I invested in a small forge and workshop (garage) and have been tinkering away ever since making things ranging from tables, hooks, flowers and companion sets for starters.
After being made redundant during the Covid 19 pandemic I decided to take that leap of faith taking what was a hobby into full time forging.
Chimpsforge is now based at a unit 12 Quarry Road Cleckheaton BD19 5HP
